Outfit Of The Month - May

English Garden Elegance.

I've always been inspired by the likes of Lydia Millen and of course Kate Middleton. But, sometimes style needs to have a different spin on it. While I love elegant dresses and heels I knew I wanted to change up my outfit a little bit for this adventure.

The scene is set at Hampstead Heath. If you have not yet been it’s beyond magical. You can relax and hide away from all the hustle and bustle of city life. In a pocket of forest and lush green gardens, there is also a vintage feel to it. I'd imagine classy grandmothers and artists living here. So, yes, that is Hampstead in a nutshell.

The Outfit: Being that it is still chilly in the mornings but a little warmer in the afternoons I knew I needed some layers.

The Skirt: I have been on a hunt for a skirt like this for a while now, and after trying so many different brands and colors I knew this would be perfect for a staple garden skirt. It is from The Drop in Amazon I believe. I am not a huge fan of Amazon clothing but, sometimes they pull through and this was one of those times!

The Blazer: Although this was found at a vintage shop, it's still so timeless and perfect for this outfit. It's an old Gap blazer. and while I had hoped for something a little more luxurious it’s still so perfect. Sometimes the piece is better than the brand and that's just how it works. I love a blazer because you can wear it in so many ways and usually they pair well with dresses and skirts.

The Shoes: Although Thursday's Boots are known for their boots of course they have some leather sneakers and these are one of them. I really love having white shoes because they go with just about any outfit. Leather is a bonus because it makes them very easy to clean. I am excited to see if they launch any other sneakers soon.

The Watch: I have been loving this watch for a few years now. It goes with everything and I was stunned by how pretty the green face is. It’s by Maven watches which is a modern brand however, they have some pieces that I think can fit any elegant outfit.

The Shirt: Another simple basic T-shirt from Primark. I really like these shirts. they hold up well in the washer and the cut just suits my body shape. White is a great color for spring or really any season. If you have solid color base pieces are you able to mix and match effortlessly.

I hope you are all enjoying spring as much as I am! It's a beautiful season and I wish it stayed around for just a little bit longer.
