Bright Colors Bring Summer To The French Riviera

This year, summer in the South of France calls for a burst of color and bold patterns. The streets have been ablaze with bold and bright styles, These small towns are renowned for their Mediterranean flair. With the sun-drenched landscapes and vibrant coastal towns serving as a backdrop, summer fashion in this region is all about embracing new trends while keeping things unique and practical.

I wanted to share a few ways I have seen people incorporating this into their daily outfits on the streets.

The Colors: Yes, It's bold colors this summer. Warm oranges and yellows, bright pinks and blues, hints of green and purple, and of course lots of white alight the streets and bring the season to a start.

The Fabrics: The warm Mediterranean climate demands clothing that is lightweight and breathable. Opt for fabrics like linen, cotton, and silk to keep cool while maintaining a sense of sophistication. Flowing midi dresses, loose-fitting linen trousers, and breezy blouses are perfect choices for daytime strolls or sipping cocktails by the sea. These fabrics not only keep you comfortable but also add an element of elegance to your ensemble.

The Style: One of the key elements of the South of France style is its simplicity. Embrace the art of effortless dressing by focusing on clean lines and well-tailored pieces. Opt for loose-fitting button-up shirts, tailored shorts, and flowing dresses that accentuate your figure without sacrificing comfort. Remember, less is more, so aim for a minimalist approach.

On The Street: Walking around Nice, Marseille, and Cote D'Azer I have seen some beyond-perfect examples of effortless French style. all of these are so unique in their own way and that's what I truly love about French style.
