Everyone has been asking for Winery recommendations from my most recent weekend trip to Sonoma County/Healdsburg. Well, I’ve gone and done a short little where to wine and dine Healdsburg edition!

The wine: Sip sip away!

WALT winery - I absolutely loved this winery, they had some amazing wines but what also caught my eye was how modern and stunning the tasting room is. Sitting on the terrace overlooking the vineyard grapes was a perfect way to enjoy a Sunday after with a tasty glass in hand. I would defiantly recommend it, for the tasting price is it well worth it!

Rodney Strong - This winery has earned the reputation for critically acclaimed Single Vineyard and Reserve wines, stand-out Estate releases. I have to say their outside tasting space is absolutely wonderful! from. the grass lawn picnic area under the big trees to the cute stone patio filled with umbrellas this is the perfect place for a girls group to spend an afternoon tasting! Their wine was also very good. I enjoyed all their reds but I have to say the white was my absolute favorite from this winery.

J Wines - Looking for bubbles? Well, I’ve got the place for you. J is actually the neighbor winery to Rodney so talk about a close location. The perfect combination of rose and whites, this tasting is a great way to start or end your day in the wine valley. A great place for small groups as they have a lovely outdoor seating area!

Chalkboard - Executive Chef Forest Lee Kellogg’s menu of small plates is inspired by produce from a dedicated 4.5 acre garden. This place was beyond tasty! I would defiantly suggest going here for an evening dinner if you can snag reservations. The food is small plates centered around a daily-changing menu. This is the spot for any nice dinner with friends or partners.
